Services

3 Lakes Dental Center offers the following services:

Preventive and Diagnostic Procedures

These procedures include your regular check-ups and cleanings. To examine your mouth more thoroughly and to achieve a better diagnosis, we utilize the latest digital x-rays and imaging. All findings and treatment plans are recorded by using paperless dental charting and treatment options available are shared with you by the Dentist.

Tooth Colored Fillings

Composite materials are used to fill small and medium sized cavities. These materials are custom matched to the natural color of your teeth. 3 Lakes Dental Center can help you find the right composite color to match your existing teeth.

Fixed Prosthodontics (Bridges and Crowns)

Crowns are cap-like porcelain restorations covering the full surface of the tooth that give the appearance of a real tooth.
Bridges are made up of two or more crowns for the teeth on either side of a gap. These two or more anchoring teeth are called abutment teeth. The false teeth between the abutment teeth are called pontics and can be made from gold, alloys, porcelain, or a combination of these materials. Dental bridges are supported by natural teeth or implants. At 3 Lakes Dental Center, bridges and crowns can be created in 1 day in emergency situations if needed.

Removable Prosthodontics (Dentures)

Removable Prosthodontics involves replacing missing teeth with a removable prosthesis. Removable Partial Dentures, also referred to as a partial, replace one or more teeth in the same arch. Removable full denture, also referred to as a denture, replace all of the teeth in one arch. 3 Lakes Dental Center can create a custom partial or full denture for patients in as little as 1 day in emergency situations.

Veneers

Veneers are very thin porcelain laminates which are bonded onto the surface of the front teeth to allow the Dentist to create beautiful smiles without surgery or braces. Ask us for a consultation to see if Veneers are right for you.

Teeth Whitening

Bleaching gels are applied on the top of the teeth either by using custom made bleaching trays at home or at the office in one visit. Ask us for the best option available to you to whiten your smile!

Pediatric Dentistry

We offer a full range of general dental procedures for patients 3 years of age and up. We strongly believe that the first few dental visits in life set the stage for one’s future dental health and we work hard to create a pleasant and exciting experience for our little patients.

Root Canal Treatment

A Root Canal Treatment is usually done on teeth with permanent nerve damage caused by infection or trauma. The procedure is completed in one or multiple visits depending on the anatomy of the tooth affected, number of canals and the curvature of the canals. After the root canal treatment has been completed, the Dentist will place a post and crown to restore the tooth integrity and function. If you are having pain which is causing nerve pain, please contact 3 Lakes Dental Center and we can schedule a same day or next day appointment.

Periodontal Treatment

This procedure is also called Scaling and Root Planning (SRP) and is intended to clean the hard bacterial accumulation (calculus and tartar) below the gum line to treat gum disease. The procedure is done under local anesthesia and usually requires 2 to 4 appointments. After the SRP, patients are required to follow a regular periodontal maintenance cleaning schedule.

Oral Surgery and Dental Implants

If a tooth is destroyed beyond repair, an extraction is usually the best choice of treatment. The patient can chose to perform the extraction at our facility or we can refer the patient to a specialist for more complicated surgical extractions.

A Dental implant is a full tooth replacement for areas where the natural tooth has been extracted. The procedure consists of 2 steps: The first surgical step is the implant placement. After the healing process has been completed the remaining portion of the tooth is restored in Step 2 which is the restorative step. The restorative step consists of placing an abutment and a crown. The full process may take between 6 to 12 months and it’s based on the individual’s speed of bone regeneration. 3 Lakes Dental can provide you the best options available for Oral surgery and Dental implants that will work for you.
